 Pakistan defeated South Africa by three wickets in the fourth and final T20I at Centurion to win the four-match series 1-3.


 Muhammad Nawaz hit a six on the fifth ball of the last over to give Pakistan victory in the match and the series.  At that time, Pakistan needed two runs off two balls to win.  Mohammad Nawaz remained unbeaten with 25 runs.


 Faheem Ashraf was adjudged the man of the match for dismissing three players for 17 runs in four overs.  Captain Babar Azam was adjudged Player of the Series.


 Captain Babar Azam, who scored a century in the last match, could only score 24 runs.  Tabrez Shamsi caught Lizard Williams on the boundary.

Asif Ali could not perform well in this match as well and was caught out after scoring only five runs.  Susanda Magala caught him on his own ball.


 Experienced batsman Muhammad Hafeez could score only 10 runs.  He was caught by Lizard Williams on Tabriz Shamsi's ball.


 Hyder Ali also failed once again and returned to the pavilion after scoring just three runs.  He was caught out by Fortune off Felkoviva.


 Fakhar Zaman was caught out after scoring 60 runs off 34 balls.  His innings included five fours and four sixes.


 Opener Muhammad Rizwan was stumped on the second ball of the first over without scoring any runs.  He was dismissed by Fortune.


 On behalf of South Africa, Lizard Williams and Susanda Magala got two wickets each, while Flekowave, Tabriz Shamsi and Fortune took one wicket each.


 Earlier, the South African team was bowled out for 144 runs in the last over while batting first.

Rasi Vander Dussen top scored for South Africa with 52 runs, his innings included five fours and two sixes.  He was caught by Mohammad Hafeez on Haris Rauf's ball.


 Yaneman Malan was caught out by Fakhar Zaman off the ball of Faheem Ashraf after scoring 33 runs.


 For Pakistan, Faheem Ashraf and Hasan Ali took three each while Haris Rauf guided two players to the pavilion, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Muhammad Nawaz took one wicket each.


 In this match, Pakistan won the toss and invited South Africa to bat first and decided to retain the team of the previous match.   .  .  .  It should be remembered that Pakistan won the first T20 match while South Africa won the second match.  In the third T20, Pakistan defeated South Africa by 9 wickets after a one-sided match.


 It should be remembered that earlier in the series of one-day matches, Pakistan won 1-2 against South Africa.
